Bowden Doors - Northumberland

Well known as arguably the best climbing crags in the County. We came across these on the road back to Wooler after a lovely day out on the beaches at Bamburgh.

We crossed the A1 and drove through Belford and then south west on the B6349. The crags are on the right and quite close to the road. Brilliant views allround. Could definitely see Lindisfarne  and Bamburgh Castles. Suspect Dunstanburgh would also have been visible.
